WOW i havnt posted a blog since October. Thats not good...So in the last year... a lot has happened. again. its like deja vu posting this blog, i wonder why...(look back a coupla blogs and youll understand)Anyway, during christmas and new years time my family spent a lot of time with the hangs and mouas and it was really really nice. it was the best holidays i have had since i was little and it means a lot to me that i get to spend time with them, but i dont think they really know that...Then came my birthday. A couple weeks after my birthday, i finally applied for my passport, and then had to wait a long time and eventually it came and was all good and stuff. The only problem was that my mom had lost my social security card! Thankfully, she eventually found it and i FINALLY got my permit on april 29. That kind of sucks tho because that means ill be taking my road test for my license sometime during winter (the earliest would be October or November).This brings me to driving. I have no problem driving and its a lot of fun. ive had quite a bit of experience now and ive driven to faribault and minneapolis many times now. However i do want to get to practice driving a manual, which i havnt gotten to do yet. I know how... i just havnt ever tried it but i plan on eventually owning a manual car so i want to practice whenever i can.Basicly the ford contour is mine now, but its not working right. I need to find or buy a battery for it first so that we can figure out whats wrong with it and fix it. then hopefully ill be able to sell it and buy a car that i acntually WANT. (which is currently a 87 or higher Toyota Supra with turbo).Also, i got a date set up for job training so that i can work at the metrodome. Unfortunately its not till july 20. :( I will be able to work through october though, for at most 17 days. I will get between 50 and 80 dollars a day (after tax) for working at the consession stand, which is pretty good. Hopefully ill be able to use some of that money to help with getting a good car too!Lastly, i should at least mention in here that im not exactly single. I am very happy with how things are going and i really like her. Im not gona say who it is right now... but everyone will find out eventually. Im keeping things mostly on the DL and so thats all you need to know about it right now. And also, shes REALLY cute. :DWell thats it for this quick disorganized update, and i hope i remember to do more in the future (and hopefully more regularly)
SO i figured that i should keep updating this blog for a couple of reasons. Firstly, i would like to keep a record of my thoughts that i can look back and reflect upon. Also, the thought of writing a book has often crossed my mind, and so i would like ideas to base the book upon, if i dont write an autobiography. Then there is the possibility that someone wants to know more about me, and has stumbled upon this website, so i figure i might as well have a blog that can show a side of me that they might not have seen before. These are the most prominant of the numerous reasons i have to continue this blog, and so now let me proceed with the first of what i hope will be many blog posts in (relative) sucession.
-SOUTH POLE-
This last weekend, I went to sears to get some new clothes. I basicly raided the south pole collection, which i believe is ll cool j's line. I havnt really gone for such flashy threads in the past, but i figured its time for something new. Personally, I think I look poppin. XD
-NEW CAR-
Yeah i messed up the order but this is my blog and so thats how its gona be. This past weekend my mom, tu, and i went to check out some new cars. My grandpa said he would like to finance a new kia for us, and so we went down to the kia dealership. We checked out a few cars, but finally settled on an automatic 2007 Kia Spectra. Its very nice.

So a lot has happened since i last posted a blog. Im not really a frequent blogger (as you can probably tell) so i will try to cover a lot of stuff right now.
A quick recap of what has happened since i last posted:
I FINALLY finished my freshmen year at Central High School. I felt like i got to know a lot of people there and im glad because this year i havnt really gotten to know anyone so far. By the end of last year i had missed just under 50 days of school, which is why I ended up failing 3 classes, and why this past summer i had to go to summerschool. I made up 1 english and 1 history credit, but i still have to make up another english credit. I will probably have to go to summerschool again next year to do this.
During the summer i also took drivers ed classes which were pretty easy and i got my blue card. I have still not yet gotten my permit because i need certain documents to do that, and since i wasnt born in america, they will not accept my birth certificate. My mom is working on "aquiring the nessisary documentation" so that could take a while. My car (96 toyota camry), got a blown engine after my mom drove it for an extended period of time without oil. it would cost more to fix it than it is worth so that REALLY SUCKS.
Moving on to other car trouble, my moms car (99 ford contour) is breaking down every day or 2 and as i am writing this blog it is stuck somewhere in a mcdonalds parking lot. I had been planning to buy Jack's car (a 89 nissan 240sx - a very popular car in mn for those of you who dont know...) for 3500 (very cheap for that car, esp since it only has about 50k miles on it), but we used used the money that was going to go to that on a road trip to wyoming.
This brings us to about 3 weeks ago. I was watching the season premere of heroes when my mom told me to get in the car because my grandmother had called and said she needed us there. We went down to my grandparents apartment (which is now located in minneapolis) and when we got there she told us that my cousin perrin had killed himself. Very heavy stuff. So anyway, we didnt have any details, but we found out he had been living in wyoming by himself for a couple of weeks. His sister Amanda had been living with him but she was visiting their mom in Colorado. SO we started to plan a trip to go to wherever my aunt becky (perrins mom) was. We had no idea if there was going to be a funeral or not and if so in colorado or wyoming and so plans changed by the minute. Eventually, we were told that there was going to be a memorial for him in wyoming, so we packed up and headed out that way at 2 am friday morning. This brings us to the road trip.
The trip was supposed to be about an 18 hr drive through iowa, nebraska, and wyoming. My friend Tou came with us to help drive as i didnt have my permit yet. Believe it or not, the trip was kind of fun!....kind of. I learned a few things in that trip, and i will list them now.1. the majority of both nebraska and wyoming smells like manure.2. the only radio stations in nebraska and wyoming are COUNTRY3. the majority of the people i met on this trip were angry and mean. i think it is because of numbers 1 and 2. no offence to people from nebraska or wyoming.
Moving on, the trip took longer than expected, because of things like the car breaking down, and getting lost. It wasnt that bad though. We visited a military museum on the way home. that was cool. when we finally got there, becky was very surprised and happy to see us because she and amanda had been there alone and since they didnt really know anyone in wyoming they were glad to see some family there. I did feel kind of useless while i was there tho...we got there pretty early and later on in the day some of my other cousins arrived, and i helped my cousin tristan rebuild the broken steps of amanda's house. Then the next day we went to the memorial, and we left the following day. To many, it seems stupid to take a week off of school and work to only be there for a couple of days, but it was worth because we could all tell how much it meant for becky and her kids to have other family there with them.Yup.
Lastly, right now im trying to catch up on everything that i missed during the trip, and trying to bring my grades up to passing by the end of the quarter. Hmm i think thats all for right now.
